Mendon Republican Committee
Our slate of candidates are looking forward to making a success out of the issues that are important to the people of Mendon. For example, the Mendon Republican Committee and endorsed candidates plan to work hard to sucessfully move the Library Project along to a successful and timely completion by understanding just what it takes to complete a project like this.
Some of our Platform Goals:
- Introduce true fiscal responsibility, fiscal ability, and transparency to the Town of Mendon Council instead of merely talking about it.
- Stabilize your taxes and prevent the irresponsible and extreme tax swings the town experienced last year from ever happening again.
- Complete the Library successfully! The town cannot be made a victim of poor planning and shell game financing with public money. Also, it would be good to set the record straight on who really dragged the Library issue out and who advocated getting it done right. We want it to be known that the Republicans in the Council supported and advocated the Library Project going back two administrations.
We are currently meeting in committee to add to our local platform and we welcome any ideas from the community! Please feel free to contact us or come by our meeting on the first Monday at the Town Hall.
